New Case

Introduction

The Sustainable Business COP30 (SB COP) is a private sector initiative led by the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) to promote global private sector leadership in advancing the positive climate agenda. As part of this mission, we are looking for examples of private sector cases in any of the SB COP focus areas - Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Materials, Bioeconomy, Food Systems, Nature-Based Solutions, Sustainable and Resilient Cities, Finance Transition and Investment, Green Jobs and Skills - to showcase the private sector's role in driving implementation efforts.

The selection criteria require cases to meet the following:

(1) Scalable: contribute to CO₂ emissions reductions, achieve goals of Paris Agreement and/or promote efficient natural resources management, when adopted by multiple companies;
(2) Short-to-Medium Term Achievable: deliver impact within 5 years;
(3) Economically Impact: Demonstrate returns and/or affordable implementation costs;
(4) Innovative: close existing implementation gap, or introduce a pioneering approach;
(5) Aligned with SB COP positioning: contribute to SB COP priorities implementation.

It is important to note that the detail and clarity of the information provided in this form are essential for the evaluation and selection of your case. The more complete and tangible your report, the greater the chances of a positive evaluation. SB COP Secretariat appreciates your effort in providing accurate and relevant data.
